CabareteBars & RestaurantsCabarete has a decent selection of bars & restaurants. I've eaten or drunk in most of them and one time or another. I've split this guide in to two sections, beach and 'non-beach'. The non-beach ones may be a little more difficult to find, especially for the first time visitor. And to be honest, on your first visit to this town, you won't have a great deal of time left to explore beyond the beach! On the beach, you will find all tastes catered for. A romantic evening at a high quality bar? Try Cassanova. A special dinner? Try Blue, or if you like Thai, Miro's. Not sure about all this foreign stuff? Jose O'Shay's will make you feel at home! Just want to kick back and chill out? Lax or Voy Voy will suit you PARTY??? Bamboo or Onnos for starters... and so it goes on... I've tried to list 'Happy Hours' & 'specials', but please remember, I don't live in Cabarete, so things change. Therefore prices etc are for guidence only. Also, all opinions are entirely my own. I've tried to be fair, but where I wasn't keen on something, that's just how it was. If it was a 'bad day' or a 'one off', tough, I said it as I found it. No 'paid for' advertising or 'free-be' meals on here. In fact, to the best of my knowledge, only one bar owner knows who I am and that I'll be writing a review, so there are no 'axes to grind'. I was very self conscious taking photos where people were eating, so took most of them during the day time, when the restaurants don't look their best but were more empty! The Beach Bars & Restaurants are listed in order, from west, starting at Pomodoro, heading east. There are other places going further west, even on the main beach front. The Hotel Taina in particular looks good and hopefully I'll get there next time. During the day, go for a walk right around the headland, towards the kites.
