CabareteBars & RestaurantsOpas ![]() I haven't ever spent any time or money in Opas. And walking past, it doesn't look like many other people do either. It is generally shut at night and is squarely at the German tourist market. This was probably a reasonable business model a few years ago when many Germans visited the Dominican Republic but now there are many more Canadians, Americans and other Europeans in Cabarete. Somehow I get the feeling that Opas hasn’t quite got to grips with the changing demographic. If you are German-speaking, pop in to Opas then let me know what it’s like.
