Other times, I just say, 'I fancy a steak'... and go there. I've never been disappointed with the food, so clearly, not having a known name doesn't matter to the food? How to find it? You could just ask for directions to Bliss, then take a few more steps away from the main road? Or, you could follow the instructions almost until you get to The York Chippy... Heading out of Cabarete towards Puerto Plata, you will walk past a couple of new developments of smart condominiums. Royal Residence being one. When you get to a second terraces of shops, on the opposite side of the road, there is a side road, to the right. Walk about thirty yards and it's on the left, directly after Bliss. It's a very easy walk, only a few hundred yards from the town centre, but take a torch with you because there is a section of the road that isn't lit, so use the torch to alert approaching traffic and to avoid pot holes! Once there, you can have steak. Or steaks. Pork or beef, you can have all sorts. Vegetarians are catered for with chicken... Non-beach places review menu below. Some images required.
