There always has been, and always will be, a general trend that the higher the league, the higher the attendances. There will always be a group of football loving people in our area that will never enjoy lower league football week-in week-out, but may come along if we were a league higher. Likewise there are many that currently come who may not want to watch Conference football and so we'd lose them no matter what we served up on the pitch. We would have a smaller average attendance than we do now with less money coming in from external sources such as the EFL etc. That means a smaller playing budget, yet somehow we're going to be a 'big fish'?

Wake up and smell the coffee. Have bad decisions been made along our journey? Yes. However, we are where we are. What we need is to offer some good deals for the next three home games (3 full price home games in 8 days? That's a lot for anyone to afford). We need to market the club better and then back it up with some decent football on the pitch. We've shown with some of the recent performances that we can play well. We just need to finish the season strongly and then see what happens in the summer.
