Season Tickets

I think people don’t need to get too hung up or thankful of the fact that the Club has extended the early bird season ticket sales. There are many Clubs whose early bird ends much later. I always thought it was a short window especially when you think ‘Whittingham 1,000’ is still

For me I think a good will thing to do is just extend it till 2weeks after the sale goes through seeing the Club are saying it’s closer than ever, with paper work with solicitors.

I'm totally in agreement with the above in fact I'd go further and say that our BoDs are dammed if they do and dammed if they don't....with regard to information passed to the fans and in particular the extension of the early bird ticket offer.

My concern is, if it has happened, why bury it in an article about season tickets? Why not shout it from the hill-tops?

Either it has happened, and the club should shout it out not 'announce it' in an article about something else, or, it hasn't, in which case it is misleading.

Hopefully, we have good news next week...

It is possible that the new owner wants to make the announcement himself which for me is how it should be.

For some people to say the club have said the sale is close just to sell season tickets is totally disrespectful to the hard working staff at the Mazuma

I was one of the 1st to buy a season ticket and I have no regrets about buying it what so ever

All the messages coming from the club, the pushing back of the deadline and social media comments from people with links to the club makes me think that NAPM campaign is having a bigger effect than people want to admit.

Is the NAPM campaign even a thing? I see the term banded around by a handful on social media but it's not really an organised campaign.

I suspect season ticket sales are down quite significantly. However, I suspect this is due to many fans feeling jaded by our rock bottom season as well as the ownership saga. I suspect that even if nothing changes, many will still take in home games, particularly if we get off to a decent start. For some too, it's finding £249.

Well I'd say definitely at least a 100 doing NAPM.
People claiming that won't have an impact.
Well that's 100 People who buy season tickets every year...buy a pint or a pie every game.

I'm not sure what level of organisation is needed to be honest.

If the sale is as close as is being said on our OWS all well and good and those who have bought early season tickets they will be joined by those who had decided to not give a penny more while Whittingham is still our owner.

For me and I take it for those passionate enough, (to some they will substitute ‘foolish enough’, but hey ho!), to follow the NAPM campaign but if that sale happens when the early bird season tickets are on sale, once again all well and good, if not, for me I am willing to take the financial hit.

I want Whittingham out, so let’s hope it’s not a false dawn and it’s happening.

Do I detect some cynicism over the NAPM campaign?

NAPM is a thing for those who do it, OK they are not organised other than hearing about what their Clubs fans had the guts to do in an attempt to get rid of their owners. For some it’s called ‘foolish’ or ‘disrespectful to the Club’. For me it’s about ‘not being taken for a fool, by Whittingham any more’ and ‘supporting Morecambe a different way’.

If people stop coming because we have fallen out of the EFL, I’m sad about that and yes I hope we do well and they come back.

Yes it is also about finding £249 who ever you are. If you want to watch Morecambe some will find it easy, others will have to make choices, I hope everyone can continue coming.

I hope we are sold and then I will be back at the games at the start of the season.
