Delighted that Pringle is playing and that Wildig is back...otherwise as expected.

Once again our bench is excellent.

Reckon Halstead is finished as a Morecambe player now, as he can't even get a cup game against lowly opposition.

It was an important game for the club so I feel Derek was right to go with his strongest side.

Derek did right to play what he considered his strongest team. This was so important to win even if we were already sure of £32,500 from TV and over £5,000 prize money. We will receive around £50,000 now and who know's maybe something similar if we get a decent 2nd round draw.

Halstead is a contracted player and has to compete with Turner and be ready to step in if he loses form or is injured.

Not sure what the point was from the last couple of posts, but so be it.

It was looking that way, but he is rightfully back where he belongs. Looking full of confidence, doing a really good job, and long may it continue.
