How come there have been 2 finals in 2 days?

Yesterday's final is last season's. The winner yesterday kept it for one day!

Salford had hold of it overnight and gave it to Sunderland today

Yep seemed a strange set up with last season’s final
No doubt some teams will have strengthened from last season and some maybe worse, and who got the medals last season’s squad who got to the final as well as this seasons who played in it
