I think we paid Woking £30,000 to buy Justin Jackson back. Then a season later sold him to moneybags Rushdon & Diamonds for £175,000

Yup, that 175k was a record transfer between 2 non league sides at the time.

Not sure on our record transfer.

Justin Jackson was allegedly £30k from Woking but record transfer shown as Steve Walters from Northwich Vics for £25k.

However, Carl Baker from Southport was allegedly £35k, although the Southport press claimed £50k.

The only players I can think where we have spent anything over £10k on in the past 20 years has been Mark Duffy for £20k, also from Scouseport and I think we paid something for Jason Oswell from Stockport.

Think Oswell cost us 20k, from memory.
