So with the new season starting at the end of July and our first friendly about July 5th
When are the squad expected back for pre season training ?

Usually July1 but maybe earlier this year due to an earlier start of the actual season.

Pre season these days is not all about regaining ones fitness as players are expected to maintain a level of fitness throughout the close season......well that's the theory......

Knowing Derek's liking for tough training sessions I can see the players been back in before end of June

Tuesday 19th July

Morecambe v Middlesbrough at the Mazuma

7pm kick off

Still a free date on Tuesday July 12th so possibly another game could be added there

Derek's latest interview he says that the players will start pre season training on 23rd June.

Also that training will be at Lancaster & Morecambe College. Looks like no more training at The University.

Away friendly announced against Huddersfield town but behind closed doors , wonder if its a five aside game otherwise we may struggle !
