We probably should take this competition more seriously, as there is more prize money in the Papa John's Trophy than in the Carabao Cup! So far in the League Cup, we've not got any prize money at all, only gate receipts. The League Cup is great, if you get a big club or on TV, but the run we're having won't have brought much money in. We should play a strong side.

On the other hand, we've a wafer thin squad, and can't risk injuries, play a weakened side.

On the other, other hand, after yesterday's thumping, we could do with working on a few things, so play a strong side.

On the other, other, other hand, next Saturday is far more important, so rest the first team entirely, and play youngsters and reserves.

I've no idea!

Ive heard Derek say that 9 games in August is far to much at the start of the season so Tuesday night is a really good chance to give some guys a rest !!!

Not been negative but i`m not really that bothered about the pizza trophy but a win would boost the confidence a little bit ahead of three very tough games in the league (brizzle rovers, derby and sheff wed)

The £10k win bonus will be nice. I think the rule was, six players who started the previous League game had to start. Don't know if that is the same this season? A few seasons back, someone substituted their goalkeeper after 2 minutes!

Last season we played the exact same Everton side and lost 1-0.

Our lineup wasn’t exactly youth players and we didn’t create anything:

Letheren, McLaughlin, Wootton, Mensah, Gibson, Wildig, McCalmont, Jones, Price, McDonald, McPake
(Cooney, Shane and Arthur came on)

Wouldn’t read much into this game.
