Paul Hurst the manager of league 1 Shrewsbury has been sacked and their long standing chairman Roland Wycherley has offered his resignation but this has been turned down by the board whilst a new owner is sought

Football fans are a fickle lot. When he was appointed in January it was like the messiah coming home but they’ve soon turned on him bit like our very own DA. Apparently Wycherley is staying on to transition over to a new buyer with negotiations at an advanced stage, where have we heard that before I bet it happens a lot quicker than our saga has
