Four games left, is it worth giving some of the younger players some League experience?

Snowball & Fairclough to start? I've got no idea where Fox-Akande is now, but assuming he's still with the club, start him too?

Or, with us still having a chance of survival, no matter how unlikely, do we still 'go for it'?

I'd like to see the three of them on the bench at Bromley, and unless something spectacular occurs on Friday, get them starting the last three games. See if they are good enough for National League football. Then sign experienced players around these three, and perhaps a couple of other youngsters.

Yes...it's the future direction of our club for me.

In answer to some of the questions asked of me.... then I'm just totally fear full that any campaign will do the opposite as it is hoped. As for the £300K forked out a few seasons ago, I seem to recall the club having to continue to pay off PMcG....but then again I could be wrong.

I asked in a separate thread 'who pays the bills at the end of the month when the kitty has run dry'.....to date not an answer.

My major worry is who follows JW

Is it yet another bloody shark ..... or is this proposed investor someone who wants to own a football club for a bit of self glory...particularly in India where interest in football is growing via TV I understand

Well I’m definitely not against it but I think we should not underestimate the level or quality of football in the National League, so experience will be required.
As for Saul Fox-Akanda, not seen head or tail of him, but he is 18+ now, does not seem to be in the first team squad or the U18s.

I think some are underestimating the national league. The top half of the NL is far superior to the bottom of league 2 & the money being splashed about is ridiculous so we will do well to be a top half team

We're cross-pollinating threads now, but to avoid confusion, the slightly less than £300k was interest paid in the last financial year, not a loan repayment, nor was it a "few seasons ago". Last year, almost £300k “interest”. It isn't 'loan repayment' to PMG either.

Not underestimating the quality of the National League. I'm expecting another relegation battle. Mid-table will be a success. The youngsters will be cheap, and, if good enough, an income stream in future seasons. Cheap for some players will give us some budget for others. If Whittingham remains, even without a Not a Penny More campaign, we will struggle If we go down to National League North, with the current ownership, we go bust.

However unlikely, I think we still have to go as strong as possible until it's mathematically over. He wasn't too bad but I'm surprised Derek brought Fairclough on over Slew on Saturday, it was asking a lot of him to save that game.
