If it was me that was making an expensive purchase of an organisation I'd want to be the one to inform those who I will have to gain their trust going forward about becoming the sole owner. It may well be that our prospective new owner has told his new BoDs that he will be the one to issue a formal acknowledgement of his takeover. Don't forget it was he who posted on this forum last year of his intentions to become the clubs new owner and what that would involve in terms of advancement in terms of structures both on and off the field.

I really do feel that we have to give our new owner as much backing as possible and see what develops in the coming season before anybody passes judgement on his tenure. OK there will be a few who will remain sceptical about his intentions. I'm still not sure why a London based businessman wants to take control of a club based in the North West BUT I remember when Blackburn Rovers where taken over by another Indian family based in India that the Rovers fans expressed concern. Many years down the line they are still in control and those same fans are still concerned.... Such is life. I am however more than happy to give the new owner the benefit of doubt at this moment and wish him well and hope that he is true to his word about wanting to develop our club in all areas.

So let's give the guy time and a bit of slack for now. Surely anything is better than JW at the helm...

Personally can't see any announcements tillnthe deal is complete but let's see
