A friend of mine in the UK is watching this match and has just WhatsApped me to say that he just saw a Morecambe flag being waved in the crowd. Blimey.
Celebration of the impending sale?

I thought I saw that early in the game and the game was so boring I spent the rest of the first half trying to see it again just to make sure. At halftime I switched off!

There are a couple of Morecambe flags that travel to England games. Trouble is that there are so many flags these days that you have to get in the stadium as soon as it opens to get a space to hang it up and we prefer to spend that time in the local bars soaking up the atmosphere. We did manage to get it some coverage on Saturday by holding it up behind the goal when the Andorran keeper took a goal kick !
