Reliable rumours that Derek is leaving!

Oh well good luck to him, who’s wanting somebody? Who’s been sacked? Don’t think it will be back up to Scotland!!

Hope it's a rumour and also nothing to do with the SALE of the club

i heard last week off a little dicky bird that the new owners don't want DA, and i didn't believe them.

but if you think about it, DA is only on a 1 month role of contract anyway, so there will be no compensation to pay out.

But his wage (or what he may be asking for) may be a little to high for their liking in the national league.

So why is he bringing in back room staff ?

Hope it isn't true as I would love Derek to stay and get us back in to the football league. The up shot is he may be tempted by a lower league team with money and ambition, he hasn't been promised anything yet and as recently as the last game at Chesterfield he alluded to the board not having a plan.
Going back to prove himself in Scotland isn't out of the question, he played and captained Motherwell who just lost their manager a few weeks ago.if Derek does decide to leave that would be my bet.

Terrible news! If he's going of his own free will it means he has no faith in the new owners. He gave assurances that he was staying as he loved the club. Derek doesn't lie.The Board will be next

This happens a lot in football ... yes Derek as had a tough time but it was his choice to come back

What’s going on - More questions than answers!!!

If Derek has been sacked I think it's poor.
Was promised money in January but never happened which resulted in our relegation.
If it happens we would of sacked two of our promotion winning Managers.
We've only been promoted 3 times in our history.

The club needs to move forward and move forward quickly

Next couple of weeks are going to be interesting for sure

2 weeks till training starts

4 weeks till first friendly

Just over 8 weeks till season starts

Why do things to do with our club always seem to happen whilst I'm on holiday

If sacked then it must be some kind of retribution and a parting gift by Jason which could and should be overruled by our potential new owners as and when they take over Or is this their first act to show things are to change. Who next ????

Imagine if Jason sacked Derek and handed an inexperienced manager and gave him a ridiculous contract as a parting shot.

In other words more upheaval and we are not sold officially yet and if true now this, if true. unless this has been lined up it will take about two weeks to bring in a new guy.

I hope the Club address this today ASAP, with no delay with the new communication that’s going to happen or has Wjiitingham put his usual veto on informing the fans?

If the rumours are true I suspect it's that the new owners already have a new manager lined up.

We all seem to be assuming that this is true. What makes this more reliable than other wrong information?
If it is true then the question is was he sacked or did he walk? Can't see how the PW's can sack him before the deal is completed. If he walked he must have thought that there was no way he could continue under the PW's.

I've been told that the deal is up to ten days away from being completed so this is Whittinghams doing!

He and Goldring were never going to go quietly were they?

If there are any Directors left!

The evidence is all there, the Board forced Whittingham in to a corner by getting 2 loans called in knowing that he couldn't pay them and faced admin. There is a war going on within the club.

If the Board is still operating we need a statement from them. If they are not we need information from them anyway. Oh, and it needs to be more than a weak "mutual consent' one.

Only thing I can find on the web is a post by Plymouth fans saying he is set to leave.
