Barry Roche?

What happened to Barry?

Morecambe substitution: Barry Roche replaced by Laurie Walker (injury).

Hope it's not serious

Agree I had a call from a friend at Macclesfield saying he came out due to either his knee or his hip

Yes. Laurie can kick the ball just as long and even higher than Baz! He needs to keep the ball in play mote often. He reminded me of Schwan on occasions tonight :(

What worried me about Baz was that he broke down all on his own, no challenge or player nearby. Hope he's ok. He is even more important while we are not putting the ball in the net!

Don't want to tar him with that particular brush! His deadball kicking is very good but when we were rushing in the later stages his distribution wasn't brilliant. I just wish we wouldn't lump the ball upfield it just wasn't working particularly with Gaz, Shuker and Duffy against 3 giants , the ball just came back again to the dismay of our Vice Chairman who was sitting behind me - try telling him it wasn't important tonight, he was kicking every ball, hence I've got bruised kneecaps!

Is that Shwan Jalal, currently first choice keeper with a League One club who has won two Player of the Year awards there? I know it didn't work out with us but its a bit like Chesterfield fans saying Barry is crap, sometimes it just doesn't click when a move elsewhere does. Clearly Shwan is a better keeper than he showed while he was with us.

In this comp you need to play 6 starters from your 1st team I think, we did Baz,Loz,Mossy,Sucker,Duffy,Andy, nothing says they have to play the full game. But Baz did take a knock on Saturday so hopefully just precautionary

Spoke to Baz and Sammy today.... he's having a scan but is fine. Should be ok for the weekend. Sammy seemed confident he'll be ok.
