O/T Burnley FC.

They have just posted losses of £29M for the year 24-25 the year they got relegated and have therefore cut the staff this season down from 565 to 388. They get approx £100M from TV rights

With them heading back up are they going to compound that loss by bigger losses next season back in the Premiership?

It’s how the other half live I suppose!!

...and despite losses at other clubs in our league we seem to struggle to find a creditable owner prepared to put up with a similar situation.

Carlisle's American owners have put over £10 million into their club in this their first season in the EFL which has seen them relegated and yet they are prepared to continue to put money into the club.

I wonder if it is all legitimate or are their dark forces lurking in the background..... :?: :?: :?: :?:

Most of the money has gone into investing in the Club and facilities which has increased their revenue massively.
