Will there be any work carried out on the pitch this pre season

Certainly needs it especially the area in front of dug outs etc

Seem to recall a statement that the ground would be replaced with special attention given to the drainage problem in front of the main stand. Wasn't it suggested that the problem was a disease in the soil at first before the drainage issue was mentioned... :?: :?: :?:

The top surface of the ground has been replaced every close season since we moved into the Maz.

shame as the pitch has started to come back and looking well apart from a small section in front of the stands
I heard there was an issue with the drainage which caused issues along with a disease

Any news on pitch improvements

I've seen there is another charity game on the pitch this weekend 25th so not much time to do anything

Just hope the drainage problems in front of the main stand have been resolved interestingly Halifax are having a hybrid pitch installed that makes use of artificial grass on a very small basis. Local Council and Football Federation ploughed £400000 into the project. Wonder if we qualify due to the drainage issue?

Looks as though the lads are well advanced into new pitch laying. Hopefully OK for only home pre season game v Barrow.

This is a genuine question...who is going to pay these lads if the NAPM campaign kicks in...

Why don't people ring the club and ask whose paying for the pitch work !!!

It will either be Jason or the new owners

What is the genuine part of your question? What’s behind it?

Please elaborate?

If your thinking is equating that people not going to watch Morecambe is the root of the money problems Morecambe FC have had over payment of wages to players and staff, is it therefore because about 1,000-1,500 fans stopped coming when we fell out of EFL League 1? I preface to believe it is the sole fault of the OWNER?

Whittingham.

And if he is unable to pay, he may become motivated to sell at a realistic price, before his asset becomes worthless.

But, the paperwork with the solicitors according to the official website, so it isn't an issue, as the NaPM campaign will be ending in the next week or so.

David Cameron. May 4th 2015.
So how did that work out then?
