Positive Positive Positive !!!!

I know times are tough regarding the club right now but can we please have a positive thread....

I will start things off - We have more players now than we had at this stage last season (some decent ones too including Stott, Edwards and White

Exactly. Plus at least a couple of promising youngsters who could follow in the footsteps of Mayor.

Too much gloom and negativity on this forum at the moment.

Take a look around the world and see what is happening elsewhere. Take Gaza for instance where thousands of children are being slaughtered by those murderers from Israel who want to exterminate the Palestinians once and for all so that they can claim the land for their own people just as they have done since the creation of the state of Israel.

If the above offends some on this forum.....tough. I'm sure that Keith and his fellow moderators will do what they feel is necessary......

You've conveniently left out the atrocities that happened on 7 October 2023, and who committed them against mainly innocent helpless young human beings. Had those atrocities not happened would the awful aftermath have happened? We don't know.

It does not matter what you think or if anyone agrees with you or not or if anyone is offended by your post, just keep posts about Morecambe FC or football in general or may be have a go at the song title game on here.

The negativity is about the ownership and how his tenure has brought us down, does anyone feel positive about that? I think even you has an go at him but otherwise Yes you are right there are things about Morecambe FC to feel positive about and it would go through the roof if Whittingham sells before next season.

I've never seen such a ridiculous post ... telling us to stop being negative about our football team because of what's going on in Gaza.
We've got some right clowns as fans lol

A "positive thread" started by one of the most negative people on this message board. What is there we can look forward to at the minute?

Ok positives then:

We've retained a decent spine of players with a handful maybe still yet to sign. Derek Adams has confirmed he will be here next season and has a confirmed budget so hopefully he's well on the way to scouting potential new signings. If the ownership is sorted, maybe that budget is increased.

Debatable how competitive we'll be in the National league. With it being reported we'll have a middle of the pack budget then that does suggest we should at least do ok. I expect to see some more wins than this season at least and quietly optimistic that with a manager like Derek, we could punch above our weight and maybe sneak into the playoffs.

It's also a new league (sort of) and with that comes a whole new roster of away days. Altrincham, Rochdale and maybe Oldham will all be decent Manchester based games. Halifax and potentially York are really nice places to go. Gateshead are also high on my list for a trip to the North East and Truro will be an interesting one for the truly hardcore.

Friendlies and next seasons kits likely to be announced soon.

You never know, we might even get sold.
