O/T EFL2 Final

O/T EFL2 Final

H/T AFC 1 Walsall 0

Terrible game. Ball mostly in the air.

Surely we have played better than either of these 2 teams. All for a striker and who knows. :?: :?: :?:

National League can't be any worse than what this final is showing..... :?: :?: :?:

Well done to Afc Wimbledon on beating Walsall in the play off final

Walsall have been awful since the new year

Very true

Thought the second half was a bit better - Walsall upped it but though Wimbledon managed things incredibly well from around 65/70 mins. Thought they were the better side on the day - strong defensively and with that little bit of extra quality.

Delighted that Walsall have fluffed it. Their bench behaved very poorly at the Mazuma, as did Liam Gordon. Also objectively funny how massively they've bottled this season.

I think the National League may actually be a stronger league than League Two. Two up/down has caused a bottleneck. I think the top half of National League is similar quality as the top half of League Two. We need a striker... ...again!

So how did that work out then?
