As I've mentioned repeatedly, I don't understand why the Trust will post on Facebook, but refuse to post here, where many fans, especially older ones, don't use FB??? Pretty simple to 'cut & paste'.

That said... I hope that people who said they won't renew their Trust membership, instead renew membership and then stand for election. It would be good to see someone from here put themselves forward.

So how did that work out then?

I'm on auto-renew, don't even have to think about it.

I'm a lifetime member - heck it was a no brainer and very low cost. I haven't asked them any questions yet despite getting lots of emails to do so, so maybe I'll ask why not more engagement on here, a forum that's more of a familiar style for older people.

Good point I would class myself amongst the above who use Shrimps Voices for information above and beyond other forms of social media. Has anyone broached the subject with the Trust chair Tarnia. She's very approachable and normally replies to e-mails promptly.

One things for sure after you become a member of the trust you get plenty of communication via e-mail which is good. I too use auto renew for membership renewal. Simples!

Yeah, I've asked/suggested it a few times. For some reason, my SPAM filter occasionally becomes a bit 'over the top' and dumps Trust emails into my SPAM folder, despite adding them to 'safe sender', so I don't always get emails.
