Let's give them a chance at least

Hmm. As I watch that now I can't help thinking what's really going through their heads as they gaze out upon the estate and spout their crap. Maybe 'Nice plot of land. How many houses can we get planning permission for on here before we parcel it up and sell it on'? Or something similar. As it turns out despite Colin being a solicitor (at the time) they obviously didn't read the legal pack well enough, as per Homes Under the Hammer's basic advice. The bit about the big patch of grass in the middle being protected by covenant should have been a massive red flag to any plans they might have had along those lines.
Anyway a change is as good as a rest so let's hope the sale goes through and just pray we have finally got owners with honourable intentions and the wherewithal to finance it.

They wouldn't deliberately be piggy-backing on such a close name association, would they?
One of Kuljeet Singh Momi's companies is 'Petronet Global Solutions', which is not to be confused with 'Petronet LNG', an Indian group that is worth US$2.1 billion, a mistake that I made originally.
Surely pure coincidence that these names are so close to much bigger & wealthier companies?

Nexus Infosys not Nexus Info Systems.

Kuljeet Singh Momi is a Director, and 'Head of Business Strategy' at 'Nexus Info Systems', a global, multi-million dollar company that provides security and surveillance systems, and is a subsidary of a larger company, based in the UAE.
Oh, hang on, no he's not. He's 'Head of Business Strategy' at 'Nexus Infosys', a 'micro-entity' with no employees and £2,674 in assets.
Good job we didn't get 'Nexus Info Systems' and the completely different 'Nexus Infosys' mixed up, that would be embarrassing!
Panjab Warriors not Punjab Warriors.
Petronet Global Solutions not Petronet LNG.
Nexus Infosys not Nexus Info Systems.

Well, that's good then. Did The Trust explain where the money is coming from? Or, just take it on Trust?

But the Trust are answerable to us, the members, not the EFL, Panjab or the Board of Directors. If they have information which satisfies them, then it is up to them to share it with the Trust members.
Don't get me wrong, if the sale is completed, then I'm happy to give Panjab a go. But, a desire to see the back of Whittingham is not the same as blindly ignoring warning signs, without question. We were all happy when the pawnbrokers arrived at the club in the first place, because we were desperate for some stability. Now, we appear to be [potentially] falling for it again, for the same reasons.
