ITV WTF

ITV WTF

Postby Bare Ben » Wed Aug 19, 2009 6:45 pm

I see we have a HUGE game on the telly tonight - Panathinaikos v Atletico Madrid. What a load of crap, who thinks of these things??? I would honestly prefer Liz McDonalds pout tonight.

And if that's not good enough you can turn to Sky Sports 2 for another biggie - Lyon v Anderlecht

I'm choosing Panathinaikos because Greece isn't too far away  , if this game isn't 13-12 I see no reason to justify why this game should be shown on one of the ENGLAND'S man terrestrial channels. I'm sure it will delight anybody over the age of 65.

You just can't trust anybody in football at the moment!!

Wouldn't say so, not these days. Hardly anyone has just those 5 channels and soon nobody will have just those five channels.

I agree. I have been proved wrong but you must admit it didn't seem too attractive before hand, I guess i'm still reeling that I have to wait another day for The Bill.

Durhamshrimp, your post is pointless, just because it is soon to change does not make it less true.

I'll agree with you there at first glance it didnt look very appealing, Im pretty shocked that sky aren't showing Burnley v United, its Burnleys first premiership game at turf moor would much rather have watch that especially with Burnley winning 1-0 with 5 minutes left

Don't be a dick, I see your point i'd much rather see a premiership game or at least a glamarous champions league tie, but at the end of the day who doesn't enjoy watching a game of football after a hard days work?

So how did that work out then?

ITV's new Champions League rights means they are contractually obligated to show their match on their main channel. They'll have the Arsenal - Celtic match next week.

Well you can't exactly say you know a lot about the 2 teams to know whether or not it will be exciting, Athletico have a load of quality players Aguero, Forlan, Maxi etc and with both teams wanting desperately to be in the champs league these are some of the best games to watch right now.
Get over it ;)
