I recently went to an outdoor 80'/90's event attended by 10,000 and although it was a good night the music was reasonably quiet and hundreds were shouting for it to be louder but they couldn't as they were restricted by the act.

How about a local band like 24/7 or Halfway House - great sounds, they are local and many of the members of each group actually support Morecambe.

...they appeal to all sections and all ages that's my reasoning behind the suggestion. It's pointless putting on a 'do' for only a relative small section of the community.
